FARGO, N.D. (AP) — Fans of the North Dakota State University football team are gearing up for the team's second straight appearance in the NCAA Football Championship Subdivision title game.
The Bison Pep Fest and Party is Friday night at Dr Pepper Ballpark in Frisco, Texas. NDSU says nearly 6,000 tickets have been purchased. Capacity at the minor league baseball stadium is about 8,000.
University President Dean Bresciani and Athletic Director Gene Taylor are scheduled to speak at the pep rally.
The Bison take on Sam Houston State on Saturday in the national championship game. It's a rematch of last year's title game won by NDSU.
