  • Annie BigTrack, "Wa Wikiye' Wi" (Helps Everyone Out), 53, of Fort Totten, N.D., passed away at her home on Wednesday afternoon, December 26, 2012. A Wake for Annie will be held on Wednesday, January 2, 2013 at the Fort Totten Recreation Center beginning at 5 p.m. with a prayer service at 8 p.m. The procession to Fort Totten will leave at 3:30 p.m. from Wal-Mart. The Funeral Service will be on Thursday, January 3 also at the Fort Totten Recreation Center with Fr. Charles Leute, OP officiating and Annie will be laid to rest in St. Jerome’s Catholic Cemetery, rural Fort Totten. Casket bearers will be Wesley BigTrack, Irvin KillsPlenty Sr., William Tomahawk Jr., Calvin Thompson, Ronnie McKay Sr., Irvin KillsPlenty Jr., Frank Tomahawk and Melvin Peoples Jr. Honary pallbearers are Bonnie Jerome, Janet Tomahawk, Tina Matteson, Rosie Azure, Florestine Peltier, Josie McKay, Debbie Little, Margie Little, Lavern Sullivan, Cissy McKay, Donna WhiteBuffalo, Candice Anderson, Edith Peltier, Ralph Peoples, John Rogness, Erik Dubois, Myra Pearson, Rochelle Littlewind, Clark Lunde, Vance Thompson, Manuel Littlewind, Sheila Littleghost, Peggy Cavanaugh, MaryLou Jetty Roger Yankton Sr., John and Mona Chaske, Connie and PeeWee Dubois, Bernadine and Gaylene Littlewind, The Howard Kids, Waylon and Renita Shaw, Heartland Care Staff and Residents, Spirit Lake Casino and Resort housekeeping employees and all of Annie’s classmates. If we forgot to name someone, it was not intentional. We ask your forgiveness as this is a very hard time for us. Annie was born August 20, 1959 in Devils Lake, N.D. She was the daughter of the late Phillip and MaryJane (Little) BigTrack. Annie attended Fort Totten School through her life. She worked at Sioux Manufacturing Corp. and later became a nanny for several families. She most recently worked for Spirit Lake Casino and Resort until her health forced her to resign from her position. Annie enjoyed spending time with her granddaughter, Willanette and her grandchildren. She was very supportive and cheered for her granddaughter at her basketball games. She also enjoyed playing Bingo, doing crossword puzzles and going to the casino and visiting friends. Annie’s Precious Family; Special granddaughter, Willanette; nieces, Lynette (Delmer) BigTrack, Lea (Erik) KillsPlenty, Lisa Peoples, Ervinetta KillsPlenty and Tammy Greywater; nephews, Emerson BigTrack Jr., Wesley BigTrack (Geneva), Lydell BigTrack, Tom BigTrack and Irvin KillsPlenty Jr.; sister, Patty Christianson; brothers, Emerson BigTrack and Robert BigTrack; adopted daughter, Sharon Feather; granddaughters, Diane Peoples, Myalynn BigTrack and Rani Howard; special grandson, Silas Longie; grandsons, Akiro Tomahawk, Irvin Tomahawk, Anthony “Puckie” Littlewind, Jalen Peoples, Phillip “Dilly” KillsPlenty, Winter BigTrack, Kelly (Carrie) Brown, Faron Howard and Cameron Howard. Annie was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Luke, Corbett, Donald, Frederick, Rudy, Allen and Herbert BigTrack; sisters, Bernice KillsPlenty, Barbara BigTrack and Vyonne BigTrack; granddaughters, Mary BigTrack,, Mary TwoHearts and Thomasine BigTrack; grandson, Wesley BigTrack Jr. and niece, Patricia BigTrack.
