Kiwanis continuing a tradition of giving to the community.

What are you doing for Christmas?

You hear the question a great deal this time of year and if you are a member of the Devils Lake Kiwanis Club the answer will be the same as its been for many, many years - you’ll be at the Devils Lake Senior Center cooking and serving Christmas dinner for the people of Devils Lake.

Dinner consists of baked ham and baked potatoes with all the fixings and their famous home-made pies for dessert.
A free-will offering is taken for the meal and all they ask is that individuals and families that plan on attending call ahead by 4 p.m. Friday, Dec. 21 so they know how many to expect.

They start delivering meals to those unable to come to the Senior Center at about 10:30 a.m. and serving the meal at the center starts at 11 a.m.

The telephone number at the Senior Center to call in your reservation is 662-5061.

The Devils Lake Kiwanis Club is always looking for new members, too, so if you might be interested in helping, stop in and visit with one of the members, they’ll be glad to talk to you about all the good things Kiwanis does to make the community and the world a better place.
