  • North Dakota author Paula F. Winskye will be at Stichin’ Sisters in Devils Lake, Friday, Dec. 7 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. as part of her holiday book tour.
In Wrong Turn, one of Winskye’s two releases in 2012, Steph Erickson and her two-year-old daughter become stranded in the Colorado mountains in deteriorating weather. Miles from the nearest ranch, she fears for their lives.
Steph does the only thing she can—honk her car horn—even though it seems hopeless. A rescuer emerges from the blizzard. After a harrowing trip, she finds herself safe at his isolated cabin. Or is she?
Readers are calling Wrong Turn one of Winskye’s best books yet.
A prolific writer, Winskye has published eleven novels since her first release in 2003. The Reverend: Murder In Medora, fourth in her Tony Wagner mystery series, also debuted in 2012. It has been her fastest selling book to date.
In addition, she has written four volumes in the Collins Family Saga; a romance, Greener Pastures; and a romance/mystery, Silent Stranger.
In 2013, Winskye will join the ranks of children’s writers with a middle grade novel, Gold Star Lee.
Winskye’s books are available in both paperback and electronic formats.
