Both Devils Lake and the Lake Region area are filled with unique, historic and lovely homes that many rarely get a glimpse inside. With the 17th annual Business and Professional Women’s Club’s “Tour of Homes” you’ll get just that.
On the tour this year will be the home of Paul and Raina Saastad located near the old Elk’s on Old Highway 2, Ron and Karla Heisler’s home in SE Devils Lake, Ryan and Heidi Hanson’s home in NE Devils Lake, Tom and Linda Culmer’s home near the Ranch, Larry and Joanne Gehrt’s home near the Frison Addition and Dennis and Donna Johnson’s home off Military Road.
Advance tickets are $10 and available at Leever’s North, LaMotte’s Paint & Glass, the Coffee Connection and NDTC and from BPW members. They will only be available until 3 p.m. on Dec. 1, however, so don’t delay. The day of the tour they will be available for $15 at the tour homes.
Tour visits can be completed in any order between the designated hours of 1 - 4 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 2.
Only advanced ticket holders will be eligible to win door prizes which include: Free cut and color from Stress-Away-Massage, Coffee sampler from Little Coyote Coffee, one day pontoon rental from Spirit Lake Casino and Resort, hand-crafted display item by artist Val Schwab, a $15 gift certificate at the Liquid Bean, a $40 gift certificate from Mr & Mrs. J’s restaurant and Christmas centerpiece from Snapdragons Floral.
Devils Lake Business & Professional Women is a non-profit organization. Proceeds of this event benefit various local projects including scholarships to Lake Region State College. BPW meets the third Tuesday of every month from 11:30-12:30 p.m. at Old Main. They will not be meeting in December.
