  • GREAT FALLS, Mont. (AP) — A Great Falls woman has pleaded guilty to criminal endangerment after she failed to take her 1-year-old daughter to the hospital after the girl accidentally drank orange juice laced with methamphetamine.
The Great Falls Tribune reports Angela Rose Haas pleaded guilty Tuesday in District Court.
Haas' husband, Lee, was given a three-year deferred sentence last week after reaching a similar plea agreement.
The two were charged in June 2011 after Angela Haas told state social workers that their daughter began acting strangely after accidentally drinking the meth-laced orange juice left by a friend who had been at their house the night before. She said they didn't take the girl to the hospital out of fear of having the child taken away.
