Throughout Marie’s life she befriended many people with her love to visit. No matter where Marie lived she had her daily routine of walking around and visiting, and if she wasn’t walking she’d be on the phone. She always had a story to tell and laughs to be shared. Marie’s favorite places to stop and spend a few nights were with her best friends, Debbie Adams and Oreila Chaske. They all enjoyed each other’s company very much. Marie’s favorite hobbies were playing cards and collecting cans.

Marie was then placed in the Odd Fellows Nursing home in Devils Lake and then transferred to Sheyenne Valley Care Center, Valley City  where she lived until the time of her death.
