WEEK IN RELIGIONA judge in London ruled earlier this month that a young boy with severe burns can be given a blood transfusion, despite the objections of his parents, who are Jehovah’s Witnesses.In his ruling, Judge Andrew Moylan said that while he had no doubt the boy’s parents love their child, that the transfusion is in his best interest, and that he hoped the parents would be understanding as to why he had made the decision.
