        • City closes major city street temporarily for badly needed repairs Jun. 18, 2013
          At the Devils Lake City Commission meeting Monday afternoon one of the main topics of discussion was the temporary closure of 5th Street and the East Viaduct, a major artery for city traffic.
          The city’s East Viaduct is closed for the time being while crews do repairs to the storm sewers and street infrastructure. The hope is that all will go well, the weather will cooperate and the closed street will be reopened either before or after the weekend.

          It is quite a sight to see as hundreds of walkers and runners participate in the North Dakota National Guard Fallen Soldiers Run/Walk coming up this year on June 22.
