- Leeds Iditarod

- The Leeds Elementary ran their own Iditarod on February 22. Each team ran the trail behind the playground, around the football field and back again. This was the culminating activity for the Iditaread, the February Reading month activity where the elementary students were challenged to set a reading goal and move their musher and dog sled along a map of the actual Iditarod trail from Anchorage to Nome.
