    • The 2010-11 sports season in the Lake Region was a memorable one as several area teams notched successful seasons, capped by North Star's perfect season that culminated in a state Class B basketball championship and an appearance in the Dakota Bowl. Along the way one legendary coach earned his 500th career victory at Lake Region State College.
