    • The annual Ramsey County Invitational officially tipped off the 2011-12 high school basketball season on Thursday at the Devils Lake Sports Center. Defending state champion North Star, which finished 27-0 last season, along with Dakota Prairie, Warwick and Four Winds-Minnewaukan, all posted victories on the first day of the tournament. The tournament continues through Saturday.
